New York State Governor David Paterson spoke with Harlem Talk Radio on the weekly radio show “Mom Madness” hosted by Simone Perry with guest correspondent Meagan Williams.

Paterson described how a one-time grant of $35 million donated by philanthropist George Soros along with the state’s $140 million in federal stimulus will help families in need throughout New York afford school supplies for the upcoming school year.

In this personal, thought provoking interview Paterson gave Harlem Talk Radio insight on growing up with a disability, his thoughts on the negative stigma attached to those receiving public assistance, what he thinks about those that criticize his actions, and he revealed his plans for re-election.

Governor Paterson emphatically dispelled rumors about who is receiving the money and how the money will be regulated.

Be sure to tune-in to “Mom Madness” hosted by Simone Perry every Thursday at 4pm on HarlemTalkRadio.com.
