Upgrading Your Business Computers With the Apple Snow Leopard

We decided to upgrade our company computers from Leopard to Snow Leopard. We were apprehensive after reading some reviews online that there had been a few failures and issues of non working programs with Snow Leopard compatibility issues.
First we looked online at Apple on the known issues with some programs and bingo there were some of the ones that we used. The main on that we were concerned about was being able to still access windows vie the use of Parallels. We contacted Parallels then after a day or so they got back with us to let us know that our previous version of parallels (3.0) will not work with Snow Leopard but that they may have an update later. Wow that sounds great. How much later. So there was only one thing to do, thats right in this tough economy with all the belt tightening, it was time to buy new apple computers with free parallels 4.0. Hey its free!!
Make sure that you update all programs before upgrading to Snow Leopard or Bill Gates will bring a box with Vista Pro to your door and his security guys will force you to install it while he evil laughs uncontrollably in the background. It was a bit of a pain to upgrade from 3 to 4 Parallels because we wanted to keep all of the windows stuff we had going and not have to reload all the programs. We actually had to read the instructions the second time at it, go figure. Anyway it worked and life was good.
The first time on one of the machines Snow Leopard did the hand thing and we had to try a second attempt that went off without a hitch.
First Snow Leopard is noticeably faster than the old version and it freed up 17gb on and older unit. Things open a bunch faster and the shutdown was so fast we started laughing. The Safari browser 4 is a big speed improvement also. So if you are on the sidelines waiting, come on in the water is fine.
