Human Resource Administration of NYC (HRA) hosted its annual NYC Dads Holiday Party on December 18, 2009 at the Museum of New York City (103rd & 5th avenue) from 6pm to 8pm.  This event was awesome!  HRA hosted a much needed family event that honored fathers involved in their child’s life.

Harlem Talk Radio‘s Nizer Saunders and Simone Perry were present at the NYC Dads Holiday Party and had the opportunity to talk with Commissioner Robert Doar to get some insight on this well received holiday party.

HTR – Tells us whats happening here today?

Commissioner Doar – This is a celebration of dad’s roles in children lives.  We do lot of thing at HRA department of social service to help moms and kids.  This is a special party for dads and kids.  We want everyone to know and recognize as I think they do that kids really need their fathers.
