The National BlackTheatre’s run of ‘Renaissance in the Belly of a Killer Whale’, which hits the stage until December 11th is a look back by three twentysomethings who are faced with the harrowing realities of a gentrified Harlem. The play is a ‘choreopoem’ with all of the elements that make a strong piece of art. Great storytelling, spoken word and comedy come together to make a wonderful and reflective evening of theatre for the whole family.

SAVIOUR? tells the story of two men engaged in a game of high stakes. Billy Hall (Aquino) is a white high profile New York activist who sues his company when a promised promotion as CEO is given to a black woman. He hires Michael Jamal Williams III (Green), an African-American attorney – willing to win at any cost.
